Ann Curry a 55-year-old journalist, successful co host of NBC's morning news program "Today," is leaving the show according the reports. The reports from TMZ said negotiations between NBC and Ann Curry are in progress on how much should she get for leaving "Today". There were reports earlier that she will be getting $10 million in the deal but TMZ later reported that Ann Curry want $20 million and exit papers and NBC wants to give her $10 million plus an overseas correspondent job, a hang-up situation.
Ann Curry has signed a 3 year contract last summer with NBC for "Today" for $20 million. She replaced Meredith Vieira. NBC is expected to announce a replacement for her later this week, but reports say Savannah Guthrie could be the next co host for "Today" nation's No. 1 morning show.
The hollywood.com reported that Ann Curry has been getting some support on twitter to continue her as Matt Lauer's co-host.
