Today is a cheerful day for Apple retail store employees as they are about to get a $4 per hour increment. The pay raise will come into effect from July 20th pay checks.
According to the reports Apple took this decision after an internal review process in which employees thought that they were underpaid.
In New York the starting salary of an Apple store employee is around $ 13 to $ 14 per hour and now after the raise they will get an handsome $ 17 to $ 18.
Earlier this year Apple CEO Tim Cook promised Apple employees discount on Mac and iPad.
